python-pysnmp4 software package provides Python SNMP library for agents and managers (Python 2 module), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pysnmp4
python-pysnmp4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pysnmp4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pysnmp4 *
You will get with python-pysnmp4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
